Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Ferrara, specializing in stochastic optimization methods for machine learning and deep learning applications. My research focuses on adaptive steplength selection, line-search procedures, and variance reduction techniques.

About

Born in 1997 in Portomaggiore, Italy. I completed my PhD in Mathematical, Physical and Computer Sciences at the University of Parma in March 2025. Currently, I hold a post-doctoral position at the University of Ferrara, where I continue my research in optimization algorithms for machine learning.

I am also a part-time professor teaching Numerical Analysis I for the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at the University of Ferrara since November 2025.

My research primarily focuses on stochastic gradient-like methods for machine and deep learning applications. I investigate adaptive steplength selection rules, line-search procedures, and variance reduction techniques through dynamic adaptive mini-batch sizing.
